Ultrasounds

You can expect in-office ultrasounds. Our experienced ultrasonographer is available for all prenatal and gyn ultrasounds. Giving patients the convenience of receiving care in one office.

Circumcisions

We perform all circumcisions right in the office. This offers families the convenience and ability to maintain a comfortable environment. Bonding time and establishing feeding routines prior to the procedure is beneficial for the baby’s comfort and well-being.

Labs

Offering in-office lab draws for your convenience. Most routine & prenatal labs can be drawn in the office prior to or after seeing your healthcare provider.

FAQs

  • We accept all major insurances. With the exception of; Humana, Geisinger and Pennsylvania Medicaid. We also accept self-pay patients, call for more information.

  • All deliveries are done at Arnot Ogden Medical Center- nationally recognized for childbirth with a 5 star ratings for vaginal & cesarean section deliveries.

  • Our team consists of two midwifes and one nurse practitioner. Most often, women’s health appointments are with the nurse practitioner & prenatal appointments are with the midwifes. However, all three are ready to provide care for you.

  • One of our two wonderful midwifes will be with you for your delivery, whether a vaginal or cesarean section.

  • If you are to need a cesarean section, whether planned or not, Dr. Dolkart is our collaborating physician and will perform the c-section. Don’t worry, your midwife will be right there assisting him!

  • We have a collaborating physician! Dr. Dolkart is the areas perinatologist (high risk OB dr.) & also our collaborating physician. If for any reason you are to experience complications, Dr Dolkart is right across the hall for us to consult with.

  • Rest assured, if you go into labor or have an urgent concern outside of regular office hours, you can contact us via our answering service by dialing our office number. (607) 732-1515

  • A midwife is a healthcare professional who specializes in providing obstetrical and gynecological care. Midwives can provide a range of services including prenatal care, labor & delivery management/support, postpartum care and well-woman care.

  • You have the option to receive pain medication or an epidural during your labor. Before labor, you’ll receive education on various pain management choices, empowering you to decide between medicated or unmedicated childbirth. Rest assured, you’re free to change your mind at any time.

  • Absolutely! We welcome new patients at all stages of care, whether you’re just beginning your journey or considering to transfer from another practice. We’re here to assist you every step of the way.
